Your dogs are beautiful and it is obvious that you care about the dogs you breed as much as the puppies that you raise. I wish that you were not located on the opposite coast of the country!

I own 3 Boston's, my sister and I dabbled in breeding for a time (www.dixiebostons.com). I had my female (Carolina) fixed a few years ago, she is 9 now and is now blind, but is still spunky. I have used one of my males (Bruser) as a stud twice, he has a wonderful disposition and is simply beautiful. The dog on our website is my pet, he is called Beans. I had a breeder tell me once to sell him and get my money out back out of him, he was no good as his ears don't stand up and he is not properly marked. My sister had to get me out of there fast, after I told him that was never going to happen. I love your red Bostons and hope to have a colorful Boston one day too. I commend you on your rescue efforts, I have 2 rescued cats myself. My sister, who is a vet tech too, is currently rescuing Pugs and anything that people bring in to the vet hospital where she works. She has such a big heart.

I currently have a 1-1/2 year old black & white male Boston who I just adore! He is large for a Boston (around 29lbs) but the sweetest thing on the earth. I would love to give him a brother someday and your pups are absolutely adorable!

Rachel: Regarding your note on the stud web page, sounds like Calypso's breeder was unhappy with you. It is what it is. They should not have refused to cooperate with you in the DNA testing, especially if they had nothing to hide. There was no excuse for Calypso as a puppy to be treated the way he was prior to your receipt of him as a puppy. Beware of purchase over the internet, etc.... I don't need to tell you that. I am just sounding off because I think that what they did was totally out of line. Dee and I would certainly recommend you and your sister and puppies to anyone under any circumstances. Your web site took much hard work to put together and it is one of the best web sites of any kind that I have ever seen. See ya soon.
